 The PowerCatTM 6 Product Range
The Enhanced PowerCatTM 6 System is the next generation of Molex Premise Networks Category 6 products, which will effortlessly support any UTP application in the market today and has been designed to provide significant future proofing to accommodate the most demanding bandwidth applications. The product range is fully compliant with EIA/TIA 568B 2.1, ISO/IEC:2002 and EN 50173:2002 standards supporting Category 6/Class E applications and is backwards compatible with Category 5E systems.
The Enhanced PowerCatTM 6 System includes the new DataGate PlusTM Category 6 connector. The DataGate Plus connector features a unique integral spring-loaded shutter for protection against dust and contaminants and patented KATT V-8 IDC, which flexes rather than fatigues when terminated. The innovative design ensures data integrity is maintained through hundreds of re-terminations. The DataGate Plus connector is independently tested by ETL for component compliance.

 PowerCatTM 6 Patch Panels
PowerCatTM 6 Patch Panels feature the shuttered DataGate Plus connector which is dual colour coded for either 568A or 568B wiring. The panels come complete with an integral cable management tray for cable strain relief and tidy cable dressing . Available in 24 or 48 port versions, with front and rear port labelling. Individual ports can be colour coded using an icon for site-specific network administration.

 PowerCatTM 6Angled MOD-SNAP Module
The Angled MOD-SNAP module is ideal for floor box applications. The product is a fully assembled unit featuring the shuttered DataGate Plus connector in a 37.5 x 22mm fascia (BT6C size). The angled design reduces patch cord bend radius particularly in shallow floor box installations. The Angled MOD-SNAP Module can also be used in the MOD-SNAP range of wall plates.

 Molex Premise Networks new Modular Wall Outlet range was designed to combine aesthetics with functionality. The contemporary design of these products is ideal for the modern office and provides the user with the flexibility of installing as many modules as required. The product family consists of Single and Double Gang Wall Plates with grid plate, a shuttered DataGate Plus Module and a Blank Module. The angled design of the module reduces patch cord bend radius and features a protected labelling feature. Individual ports can be colour coded for site-specific network administration.

Cable Management
 Ring Run Panels come complete with flexible plastic rings which are designed to aid installations by providing a speedy method of cable dressing. Blank Panels provide the in-fill for the tidy looking cabinet installation. Cable tidy brush panel offers the user the ability to hide unsightly cables behind the brush, but with the convenience of access to these cables if necessary.

Molex Premise Networks Category 5e product range is known as the PowerCatTM
system. Designed to meet or exceed the requirements of: TIA/EIA 568B, ISO/IEC
l.11801, AS/NZS3080:2002 standards .
The product range offers backwards
compatibility with Category 5 systems, with enhanced performance in support of
the Gigabit Ethernet protocol.

 Quadplate
The 4 Port shuttered fixed wallplate (Quadplate)
is a complete assembly, comprising 4 Cat 5e RJLP RJ45 connectors, fascia, spring
loaded shutters and protected labelling facility. The density of the wallplate
makes it ideal for situations where several services are required in one location
e.g. voice, data, video conferencing.
The Quadplate is designed to fit
in standard back-boxes (86x86mm external dimension) with 2 (only) screw fixing
positions. The minimum internal backbox dimension clearance allowable is 76x76mm
up to 81x81mm.
