Fibre TerminationTraining Course
A one day training course covering the theory and practice of Terminating Fibre Optic Cables
Methods Covered:
- Lightcrimp ST
- Lightcrimp SC
- Fusion Splicing
- Corelink Splicing
- MTRJ
This training course will instruct participants in Fibre Optic Fusion Splicing and crimping fibre connectors with the AMP lightcrimp kit. The course will also cover testing fibre cables and a technical overview of fibre optics within the LAN environment.

Introduction to the Essential Principles of Structured Cabling:
- Category 5 Enhanced Systems
- Category 6 Systems 6
- Installation Rules, Regulations and Essential Guidelines.
- Network Design and Cabinet Layout
- Practical Installation: Hands on instruction in terminating Cat 5E / Cat 6 Outlets and Patch Panels.
- (Each participant is given the opportunity to take part in this and have his work tested and inspected).
- Testing to Level 2 TSB 67 Standards.
- Instruction in use of Fluke DSP4000 Cable Meter for site certification,
